FOR EMPLOYERS

A handwriting test at the recruitment stage is a common practice in the US and Europe. Of course, a handwriting analysis cannot prove a competence level of a candidate, but it can provide some details about personality traits that often play an equally important role as experience and education do.

Leadership skills and responsibility, motivation and discipline, goal-orientation and emotional stability, strategic thinking and ability to adapt to changes, organisation skills, efficient planning and stress resistance — all these features can help a graphologist assess a candidate or compare several candidates.

We offer two basic types of a handwriting analysis of candidates:

A handwriting analysis of a candidate
A comparative handwriting analysis of candidates

A handwriting analysis of a candidate

What you need to provide
1. A sample of handwriting.
— Ideally, you should take a white blank A4 sheet, put a couple of sheets under it for extra softness, take a blue ballpoint pen and write down anything, except poems. Also, don’t write at dictation and don’t copy down. The preferred volume is a whole page. At the bottom, there should be a signature and all numbers. The result should either be scanned at high resolution (of at least 300 DPI) or photographed in good light, at good quality and without changing proportions of the sheet.
— In reality, it is not always possible, so we ask to provide handwritten documents in a way as close as possible to the mentioned above.
2. Information about the author of the handwritten text. Sex, age, handedness, eyesight (normal vision, short-sighted, far-sighted), the vacancy he/she is applying for.

What you’ll get
A psychological profile of a candidate, that consists of a 5-scale rating of his qualities (from 1 to 5) and the description of those. You can see an example here. The qualities to assess and describe are as follows:
— leadership skills
— responsibility
— motivation for success
— discipline
— target orientation
— emotional stability
— strategic thinking
— ability to adapt to changes
— organisation skills
— efficient planning
— stress resistance
In conclusion, the graphologist shall provide his personal opinion whether the candidate is suitable for the role and why.

Steps of work
1. You send a copy of the handwritten text to us at test@grapholog.ru, putting «A handwriting analysis of a candidate» in the subject line, and providing information about the author of the text in the email body.
2. We forward your request to one of our graphologists and notify you about it via email.
3. The graphologist emails you to update you about starting the analysis, and if necessary, asks to provide some more details about the author of the handwritten text.
4. You make a payment.
5. We acknowledge receipt.
6. You receive the completed handwriting analysis via email.
Usually, an analysis takes no longer than a week to complete.
